Widening of Poinciana Boulevard from two to four lanes from Pleasant Hill Road to Trafalgar Boulevard. Total project length is approximately 5.7 miles. This project is now in construction. The final design plans can be viewed from the Documents section of this page.

Part “A” of the Project involved the analysis of alternatives for the construction of a four-lane divided roadway with multimodal accommodations, including new sidewalks and a multi-modal trail, associated drainage improvements and storm water ponds, modification of the signalized intersection at Pleasant Hill Road, upgrading the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), and street lighting and landscaping considerations.

Part “B” included the design of the preferred alternative identified in Part “A”.
